Designed by Marc Morro for Nanimarquina, Topo Red is an exercise in pure geometry and vibrant color. A fiery red circle floats provocatively at the margin of a raw, undyed background, establishing a powerful interplay between shape and space. Woven by hand using the kilim technique—where warp and weft intersect without knots—this flat, lightweight rug measures just 4 mm in height and is remarkably easy to maintain. With 48,000 yarns per square meter and 100 % hand-spun Afghan wool, its naturally wavy texture imparts an aged, tactile quality that evolves over time. The striking contrast between the intense red and the neutral field makes Topo Red ideal as a focal point, a visual sanctuary, or a graphic pause in modern, minimalist, or Scandinavian-inspired settings.
