Designed by Marc Morro for Nanimarquina, Topo Green is an exploration of essential geometry and vivid color. A large emerald-green circle sits provocatively on the edge of a raw, natural-toned field, establishing a powerful interplay of form and space. Woven by hand on vertical or horizontal looms, the kilim technique forgoes knots in favor of an interlaced warp-and-weft structure, yielding a flat, lightweight rug that is exceptionally durable and easy to clean.
Made from 100 % hand-spun Afghan wool—valued for its natural waviness, robustness, and distinctive, aged texture—Topo Green measures just 4 mm in height and contains 48,000 yarns per square meter. Its graphic pattern and color contrast serve as a striking focal point, a visual refuge, or a serene pause, fitting seamlessly into modern, minimalist, or Scandinavian-inspired spaces. Available in four standard sizes (170 × 240 cm, 200 × 300 cm, 250 × 350 cm, 300 × 400 cm), it adapts to living rooms, dining areas, and open-plan layouts of varying scales.
Marc Morro (b. 1983, Mallorca) is a Barcelona-based designer known for his honest, radically austere approach. His work seeks archetypal clarity—where a chair remains a chair and a table a table—producing pieces that feel both immediate and harmonious. Topo Green reflects his philosophy of stripping design to its essence while delivering maximum visual impact.
