This is the Tartan Green carpet from Garden Layers, a collection made with special outdoor materials and fabrics that also includes mattresses, rolls, cushions, beds and side tables. Manufactured in mechanical looms with pleasantly soft-to-the-touch polypropylene fibers, its tartan-style pattern mixes threads of green and gray tones. Due to its neutral palette, it goes well with any other Garden Layers fabric -all the items in this collection are designed to harmonize with each other. The idea behind this line is to playfully combine different fabrics as layers -hence the name of the collection. In particular, this model fits especially well with the small Checks mattress, large Diagonal rolls in a light shade, large Diagonal cushions in darker fabrics, double Indian beds and small side tables.

A set of designs linked together, designed to project stimulating and contemporary atmospheres with an open, flexible and casual configuration. Patricia Urquiola, designer of the Garden Layers collection Patricia Urquiola is an architect and designer of Spanish origin who settled in Italy after graduating from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1989. After working with Italian masters of design such as Achille Castiglioni and Vico Magistretti, she founded her own studio in 2001. Since then, she has tackled very diverse projects, from furniture and lighting to ephemeral installations or the integral design of hotels. Her sensitivity to traditional handmade objects and international cooperation in the field of handmade productions led to the start of a fruitful collaboration in 2004 with GAN, which continues to this day.
