Remaining true to her design roots, Nani Marquina launched her eponymous brand in 1987, a period when contemporary rugs were a rarity in Spain. Armed with a background in industrial design from the Escuela Massana of Barcelona and buoyed by the success of her initial bespoke textile projects, Nani gave birth to Nanimarquina.
