This is the Almond-Peach Diagonal outdoor rug, made with soft polypropylene fibers on a manual loom. Its fabric, specially indicated for exterior use, has a diagonal orientation and is made with peach and almond tones. It belongs to the Garden Layers collection, which also includes mattresses, rolls, cushions, beds and side tables designed in a varied range of patterns. Each one of these elements can be combined with the others, generating a layered effect -hence the name of the collection. This rug, however, works particularly well with the large Diagonal mattresses in lighter shades, the small Checks rolls, the small Gofre cushions, the Tartan Indian double beds and the large side tables.

Patricia Urquiola, designer of the Garden Layers collection Patricia Urquiola is an architect and designer of Spanish origin who settled in Italy after graduating from the Polytechnic University of Milan in 1989. After working with Italian masters of design such as Achille Castiglioni and Vico Magistretti, she founded her own studio in 2001. Since then, she has tackled very diverse projects, from furniture and lighting to ephemeral installations or the integral design of hotels. Her sensitivity to traditional handmade objects and international cooperation in the field of handmade productions led to the start of a fruitful collaboration in 2004 with GAN, which continues to this day.
