Neri&Hu, designers of the Lan collection After graduating as architects from the University of Berkeley, California, Lyndon Neri and Rossana Hu continued their training at Harvard and Princeton, respectively. Their first professional endeavors happened between California and New York, where they worked for several architecture studios, coinciding in the office of Michael Graves. In 2004, they founded their own studio in Shanghai, the Neri&Hu Design and Research Office, with an additional design practice in London. They work internationally in interdisciplinary projects of architecture and interior design, furniture design, lighting and decorative accessories. Their proposals are characterized by a need to revitalize traditional elements or handcrafted productions, something clearly visible in their collaboration with GAN.
